<Day 3 Yueqin(月琴) & Sea Bittern (鹽滷) Workshops>
On day three, IMCCI students took part in Yueqin & Sea Bittern workshops led by Summer Hsu. She researched into sea bittern due to environmental issues and determined to introduce it to more people. Students experienced the process of making sea bittern tofu, soymilk, and cookies, enjoying local and natural cuisine.
After the DIY, Hsu introduced five tones of Yueqin to students and performed for them. Students learned about local history and culture related to Yueqin, and tried to play it by themselves.
Students also made their own candlestands featuring Paiwan elements, led by a teacher from Majia Township. Later another teacher introduced us Majia Township and some examples of local marketing.
